How do members purchase items?
The store operates like any online merchant. Select product, color and size for your cart. Pay directly on the site using a credit card. Items are shipped directly to you.
What is the cost of shipping?
Shipping is roughly $6.95 but they run deals at times such as free shipping for all orders over $125.
Is this a fundraiser?
No. All items are priced at the merchant cost. We considered adding a 5% fundraising donation. The money collected would be donated annually to the Breast Cancer Foundation but we ran into some complications. If you have an opinion about this please feel free to share it at your faculty meetings with your building reps. We thought it would be a nice option for the future.
I heard a rumor about a coupon. What happened?
No rumor. The BCT is offering a one time $15 off your first purchase. It is available by entering the code "BCTUNION15" at checkout. The merchant offers deals of their own at times. For example, there was a merchant offered 20% off and free shipping for a total purchase of $125 or more. However, you can only use one coupon code at a time. You can't combine our code with another. The coupon can't be used to cover shipping. We will email you with future merchant coupon codes.
How do I figure out sizing?
There is a link in the details for each article with sizing measurements.
Will all sizes and articles always be available?
We selected the clothing choices and designed the logos. The merchant will remove selections and sizes based on supply. The merchant will also add back selections when supply has improved.
Can I see some actual samples?
There are a few t-shirt samples in the BCT office which were purchased for quality control. Stop by and take a look. They really are just the casual t-shirts but might be helpful. There are many members with a variety of purchased items. Ask your fellow members to see what they have purchased.
These designs are different than last year's "Education First" design. Why the change?
Let's consider this the 2018-19 BCTwear line of clothing. These logos were designed by the executive board. We are open to new logo designs in the future if members are interested in being part of the creative process. Just please no books or apples in the logo. If you are interested, please check in with the executive board. We would not be moving forward on a new design process for a few months though.
I have some questions.
Please send all inquiries to bct1379@gmail.com or ask your building rep.
We hope you find the selection interesting and hope you participate in this endeavor.
