Frequently Asked Question's about the Benefit Trust:

Answer: The Trust is separate from the union itself. It's purpose is to purchase and maintain our vision, dental, and life insurance policies. Presently, the union appointed trustees are listed and pictured above.

Answer: According to our contract, the district has agreed to contribute a sum of money to the fund, currently $117 per month per full time teacher. A Declaration of Trust has been prepared which governs the fund. The five Trustees (pictured above) work together with an accountant and an attorney to meet all legal requirements.
Question: Why do we need the Benefit Trust?
